During vacuum drying, the water vapor pressure difference between inside and outside the wood increases, which speeds up the water migration in the wood. At the same time, due to the low boiling point of the water in the vacuum state, a higher drying rate can be achieved at a lower temperature, and the drying quality is good, especially suitable for hard broadleaf wood with good air permeability or easy to shrink and large thickness.
