Wood drying is the wood stacked in a closed container, drying under conditions below atmospheric pressure, the drying medium is wet air. During vacuum drying, the water vapor pressure difference between inside and outside the wood increases, which speeds up the water migration in the wood. At the same time, due to the low boiling point of the water in the vacuum state, a higher drying rate can be achieved at a lower temperature, and the drying quality is good, especially suitable for hard broadleaf wood with good air permeability or easy to shrink and large thickness.

High temperature Drying wood process :

2. For sheets with a dry air density of 0.3g/cm³-0.85g/cm³ of common tree species, the temperature rise range is 45ºC-85ºC. For trees that are easy to crack, collapse and difficult to dry, the temperature should be appropriately reduced.
