The retort contains a small amount of water. If necessary, automatically inject this portion of water into retort at the start of the warming. For hot-filling products, this part of water can be preheated in the retort, and circles repeatedly through high flow pump in the whole process of sterilization, and spray evenly to heat products. Steam goes through the other loop of the heat exchanger to adjust the temperature according to the set temperature value. Then the water sprays evenly on the surface of the entire product through the distribution plate which is installed on the side of the retort vessel. This way ensures the uniform distribution of heat. Water that sprayed products is collected at the bottom of the retort and flow out after going through the filter and collecting pipe.
During the period of the heating and sterilizing, the program automatically controls valves to control.
In cooling stage, inject cold water into the initial circuit of heat exchanger. Water inflow of cold water is adjusted by the automatic valve at the entrance of heat exchanger and controlled by the program. The cooling water does not touch the container inside, so it is not contaminated and can be reused.
Throughout the process, the program adjusts two automatic valves to feed or discharge compressed air to the retort to control the inner pressure of the retort.
By the end of the sterilization, alarm signal will be displayed. It is time to open the door and unload. Then prepare the next batch products for sterilization.
The temperature distribution uniformity of retort body must be + / - 0.5ºC (start calculation after insulation program starts 3 minutes)
